haha. I need an 18" crash. The 12" & 14" chinas were picked up because the shop had a killer deal. They're actually World Percussion brand. I got both new for $30!!! I don't have stands for them yet... The crash is what I need though.

I use 6 Paiste ( 14", 16", 18" crashes, 20" ride, 14" china, and 10" splash) cymbals, 14" zildjian hihats, and 4 Roland PD-7 pads, so I guess that would make 11.

4 B8 Sabians (thin crash, splash, ride and medium crash) Most venues i play in are quite small for space so 4 does me fine

Depends on the situation.

As many as 3 crashes, 2 splashes, a china splash, regular china, hats and ride.
Or a more minimal setup would have 2 crashes, maybe a splash, hats and ride.

Over the next few Sundays I should know how and if I will incorporate the X-hats into things. It may just be something I play with at home, or they may become a regular part of the kit. Only time will tell.

Usually 2. 1 ride, 1 crash, but sometimes 2 crashes on special occasions.

Seven, in this order of frequency:

1) 14" Sabian AA Metal-X hats (duh)
2) 18" Sabian AAX Metal crash (it's my riding crash)
3) 15" Sabian AAXplosion crash (constant accents)
4) 18" Sabian AAXplosion fast crash (double-handed accents mainly)
5) 20" Sabian AA Metal-X ride (I just don't use the ride a lot)
6) 18" Sabian AA Metal-X Chinese (my go-to China)
7) 16" Wuhan China (this one's on my left side, so it doesn't get a lot of use)

Now my poor high tom, that thing gets like no love.

I was thinking of getting some small splashes, but now I'm thinking of getting a 17" crash and using the 15" as my splash. Honestly it's as high of a pitch as I need from a cymbal.

Man, i only use 2 cymbals other than the hi hats. Paiste Alpha Rock Crash, 18", and a Wuhan China, 18". But my dream kit would have 19", 17" Rock crashes, 18" crash/ride, 18", 16" china and 14" hats and maybe a 16" med crash, depending on the gig. So 5/6 cymbals. I could really use one more cymbal though. Any crash would do for me, but, alas, i ask, "money, where art thou? Comest
to me so i can buy something for my drums."

i use 5 including the hi hats although i do ahve a splash lying around that i would use but cant find a good spot.
