ok....so Utopia is the name of my latest band....we are sorta broke up now but not forever....we just took a break for college...there were only three of us but one went 1500 miles away and the other 100 miles away but if ur interested in hearing us you can at myspace.com/theutopianthree......forgive the horrible recordings it wasn't exactly done proffessionally but u'll get the idea of our music...oh and....if u like what u hear check back later because i'll be posting more songs later...and plz plz lemme know what you all think...honestly

i like the music but i think it would be better if you played more up tempo not so slow... cool drum parts though

Hey Utopia, the Lighthouse Song has a great groove to it....I really dig it. Siren Song had a totally unexpected change in the middle of it which I really like. Only thing I think I would do differently would be to run 16th's on the bass when you make the change. I would definetly like to hear some studio recordings. Great work! Keep it up!

actually beleive it or not i do do that...we recorded those songs a couple yrs ago before i was proficient with the faster bass drum stuff but now im fairly proficient with the double pedal so i actually do that and i even add just a tad of double pedal work on dissillusioned too...i wish we could afford to get into the studio....although at this point i'de be happy if we were just playing together anymore....:)thanx for the feed back

Great Music, I like it. I'm very much a fan of progressive rock/metal, and your sound is very reminiscent of bands like Porcupine Tree, Acoustic Opeth and possibly acoustic Katatonia.
