The famous snare is the Ludwig Supraphonic chrome-over-aluminum, 6.5" deep, stock # LM402.
As for the rest of his stuff it's generally big Ludwigs, the exact dimensions Ludwig lists on their site.
I was reading his Wikipedia article the other day recently for the first time and was surprised to see it read he used Paiste (I thought he was a Zildjian guy for some reason, probably because before the 80s it seemed like Zildjian was nearly a monopoly).
Add to his sound equation he played with huge drumsticks and kept the sound engineers at some distance. I'm sure some of our other members know more about the man than the smattering of anecdotes I've read or heard over the years.

I also noticed that John had internal mufflers on all his toms and snare that could be adjusted with a knob on the outside of the drum.
I believe the green sparkle 3-ply kit and the amber vista kit were 14/16/18/26.

You are right Ricardo those are the sizes he used.
looks like kick reso on the green one has some kind of ring around the edge
After doing some research I found this info on John's bass drum muffling.
The bass drum was muffled with felt strips, at first on both the batter and front heads and then later with a Remo 'Ritchie Ring' on the front head instead of a felt strip.
To play like a bonham you first need to become a bonham .. first drink scotch for breakfast . Then lay down in a bathtub and cry
I saw LZ in '71,JB was using green sparkle with timps & gong(& ching ring).
Was listening to and watching a show on yt they did in Seattle in 77 I think. Wow it seemed like they were all having an off night. They just didn't sound that good. A lot of people said it was because Page was high or whatever or Plants sons death... Page's solo at around the 56:00 mark is so out there it almost sounds like.... crap (sorry) I love LZ not trying to bash them
