Great score! I own the very same drum myself, as well as a Pearl maple piccolo in the same dimensions. I just don't play them often enough, but they sure crack like anything. Have fun with it.

Not only that, but a Rogers hi-hat stand too, nice. Love the finish of those drums. What do they call it, haven't seen that before. Is it a laminate?

Nice to see a fellow Rogers drummer on DC. What finish is that btw? And what's the little dark coloured add-on tom near your hi-hat? Cheers!

^ Well if it's your first piccolo, you won't be disappointed. Pearl ones have a nice crack to them. I've jammed on someone's Sonor piccolo too, and I can remember the great sound those ones have....

Oh I love the sound of a little 18x12" Maxwin bass drum that I own and occasionally throw in with a set up or two. It records really well.

That's a great deal! I had no idea that you could get the Stage Customs with toms with that short (for me, 'normal'....I remember the trend in the late 80's and early 90's for power toms, when they...

Ah. Well really that kit was a configuration known as the "Jazzette" which came with an 18" bass drum, 12" rack tom, 14" floor tom and a 13" snare. I simply asked the shop if I could take an 8" tom...

Yeah, I remember quite a while back a kit in that similar finish was on sale via Gumtree locally over here. First one I thought of was yours!

Hold onto that one if it's a Canadian rarity mate!

Yeah I do that sometimes, going for a 10/14/16 set up. It allows me to move the snare drum a little forward when using a 10" tom, in comparison to a 12" rack tom.
