Been eyeballing those holy chinas......did pick up a 10" Aero splash. Really cool little cymbal.
That looks amazing......as long as the tube lug holes and the imperial lug holes are the same... we'll be in business.
That's what I was thinking....I'm not sure if it's possible to switch out the Imperial lugs for the tube lugs based on how they line up. Might either have to ask Ludwig or one of their dealers.
I have the traditional triple flange hoops and classic lugs.
I'm actually looking at getting brass hoops and lugs....do these have to be Ludwig hoops and lugs or can they be any kind as long as...
would kill to be able to afford an SQ2(maple or beech).............but one thing I haven't seen mentioned are their snare drums...those are works of art that sound amazing....one of my bucket list...
Thanks, they're very killer. Love the tone and the feel of them too.
Only thing I might end up regretting is that I parted with my Tama G-Maple snare to make it affordable for me. But I haven't...

Liked the old HHX Power Hats but they weren't the most versatile. The Xplosions are that and then some.

New heads, detailed and cymbals polished.
Awesome thanks!
There actually is a G Bubinga set. It's modeled after the snare. 11 or 12 ply of Bubinga. I see it for sale on various music sites, GC, SA, Swee****er, etc....I'm just having trouble finding videos,...
Does anyone have any experience with it? I know about the G-Bubinga snares but I'm intrigued by the G-Bubinga set. I'm having trouble finding anything on the set.
Haha thanks and I will be. I wonder what I'm getting lol
Since I've been a good boy his year...and since I've had my current Gibraltar hi hat stand for the past 20+ years. It's finally time to upgrade. So today I ordered a....

Mapex falcon hi hat...
me thinks that's going to be for sale for a while.
I'm curious too.....I have the Paragon 19" China (LOVE it) and the 22" Paragon Ride....I like it, but it's not as awesome as I thought....will eventually trade it out for a 22" HH Rock Ride or a 22"...
That's exactly it....it was a double bass 7pc kit... I traded in the 18 floor tom because I didn't really use 2 floor toms. The drums weighed a ton too.
The kit I had the longest was a 90s Premier XPK in a purplish swirl finish...got it in high school and kept it well after graduating college so over 10 yrs....was young and that kit was abused.......
very cool....I'd have liked to have gone but I was out of town during it.....and I only live a little more than an hour from that particular business. But I've never been there.
for the low low price of $1500 I'm sure.
Yep...that's how I feel...but damn do they sound good.
Bar Keepers Friend...fraction of the price of regular cymbal cleaners, lasts longer and does just as good a job.
There's a guitar center close to me that has a 6.5 x 14 used for like $250. I've been looking but can't seem to find anything on it. Looks to be an older snare but have no idea what else about it. If...
That's the super secret sale price.
