Great looking kit. I want a Tama hyperdrive really bad. Love the shallow toms and they sound pretty good too.

I mounted the Peavey on my conventional rack once and while it worked ok, it was a real pain to set up. I'd never use it for playing gigs. The idea of the Stealth Rack is genius and keeps the...

I set up my gig kit at my new band's rehearsal place. Looks pretty decent. I'm contemplating buying a Stealth Rack for it. I have way too many tripods.

    Hi Elan,

You can't post pictures directly off your hard drive.

You'll need to use a photo hosting site such as www.photobucket.com to link to forums.

I have the exact same Pearl hi-hat and double pedal. I use them a lot when playing gigs. Pretty solid stuff and feels good.

I love this kit. I'd be in a real tough spot if I was in a position to trade my DW for this.

New setup, took away one bass drum and two rack toms. Trimmed off a few cymbals too. Loving it so far.

Updated pics of the Peavey mounted on the rack. Has a matching snare now.

It weighs about the same as a normal kit.

I'm guessing a pair of radial maple rings weigh about the same as a dozen or so lugs...give or take. You also have to take into account that the shells...

Picture from my last practice. I set up the 2nd kit at my bassist's house. Easier to leave it there and just bring cymbals. I can't wait to play this kit live.

Just a quick observation... your toms have pretty big angle on them. Do you tend to dent your head a lot, or that's not an issue?

If you do, I'd try to flatten them a tad and see if that works...

I think you could benefit from having a more standard setup. Seems like a lot of twisting around to do a full roll, which can't be good for your back in the long run. Having your floor toms closer to...

Updated config. Still not 100% comfortable with where the rotos/deccabons are, but it's getting there. I might need individual tom arms to hold the deccabons. I'd like to stack them in 2x2, not sure...

The DWPS has a much lower note overall, a bit more controlled as well since it doesn't resonate quite as much as the Peavey. The Radials sound like each tom is one size smaller than my DW (i.e. the...

They sound awesome. I'm definitely happy with them. Had Peavey still made drums when I was buying my kit last year, I may not have gotten the DW's.
