I was so happy to see the acrylic design series come out. I had wanted an acrylic kit for live purposes, and I really didn't want to stray away from DW. At the same time, I didn't want to spend an...
A man after my own heart.
The 12x14 would be part of DW's "standard" sizes (much like the others you listed) and would fit the sizes you listed well.
It's a hard life, buying all the black wrapped dw drums in existence... Lol
*cough* my drums, not Marko's (no offense to you, though Marko!).
I figured it needed to be done sometime. So here it is, my wrapped DW arsenal.

You know, when it's all...
If that color of performance series had been one of the release colors I might have never bought my shell library of collectors drums.
Here's my unauthentic Bonham setup from today's jam. We got rained out last week, and I had to bring a smaller kit to play their indoor area. Didn't want to disappoint.

Pfft, when would I not want to show off something like this? lol.
the fewer the better. I guess I need to bring out my bonham-ish style kit with 16 and 18 floor toms for next week.
Actually, that's not true, DW will use them if you specifically ask for them. Here's a post from DW's facebook page:

So, here's what I brought out to last Tuesday's jam. Note my "jam crash" with the pizza slice missing on the right hand side, lol.

A type of plastic wrap, about as thick as a ply that the shell is made out of. No different than any other company's typical wrap.
My newest, and probably last additions for a while - 2 20"x18" kicks, and an 18"x16" Camco floor tom (which of course shares DW lugs, wolf in sheeps clothing! It's not really a DW! The world is...
Responded on your thread. Show us some pics, I'd be interested in seeing the kit.
DW doesn't sell their lugs directly because they want to protect their brand. They will replace damaged lugs, but you have to send in the damaged lugs for the replacement.
In order to buy lugs,...
the MM collectors sound really good in person as well. Lower frequencies are louder. Not as bright or "singy" as their typical maple kit.
Here's about as close as I can get with my current photos. I'll take some more later this week if these aren't clear enough.
Here's a close in on the DW clamp which has the ball L-Arms. The one...
Hadnt even thought to take pictures of a build sequence unfortunately. I'll have to do that the next time I set it up.
I'll see if I have a clear pic of the hi hat stand so you can see it, but the...
What about the hi hat are you looking to see, the mounting or the cymbals themselves?
Yeah, 24" tuned fairly low and wide open, no muffling, no port for that more classic kick sound. 22" muffled down for modern sounding punchy double bass.
Here are a few pics of the big kit.

Recently bought a used 10" DW tom from the same era as the rest of my kit that was painted white. Removed the paint, and got the drum wrapped to match the rest of my gigging kit. Here's the before...
Then I ate my words because Arefish is on point.
Interesting. But I have a bad feeling about this line. Assembled in Taiwan... Wonder if that means paint and hardware, or shells? If dw let's...
