I use a "drill bit" drum key for quick drumhead changes, and a regular DW drum key for fine tuning. Works fantastic, and they were both under $8 each.

I am using a G2 coated over 300 hazy on my 13x6.5 steel snare, and I would put the sound up against anyone. It sounds awesome.
I use the Vater single pair holder. They have a multi-pair holder also. Works fantastic.
He normally wears shooting headsets. Drumming with no ear protection normally isn't allowed. This was a spur of the moment solo.
I scored a nice little 5-piece kit for my son to replace his 3 piece, piece of junk. Here is a little video of him jamming. He is 2 1/2 years old, and loves to :punk::drumset-3: . Hope you guys...
I wouldn't turn it down, but I wouldn't close the door on a huge demographic by eliminating viewing on iOS devices either. Some sites wait 24-48 hours after the video is posted to add iOS viewing,...
That is one of her older videos. Meytal is an official endorsee of Vic Firth, DC California Drum, Soultone Cymbals and Behringer Microphones.
She has numerous sponsers, including sticks and cymbals. I used to subscribe, until she made her videos unable to be viewed on my iPhone and iPad. I understand she is making money off the...
:punk: Thanks guys!!!!! I saw my name in the title, and thought I was in trouble.
Congrats on the score. Those are really nice looking pedals.
That is what I am talking about!! Sounds like the perfect night. Only thing better than watching hockey, is playing hockey.
My thoughts exactly!!
I understand where you are coming from on the "used" part, but when you are talking quality vs new, quality should always win out. That "new" snare you buy him will be "used" fairly quickly. You...
Just click the video itself once it starts to play. Should take you right to it.
I love this intro! One of the coolest on TV for sure. Mad Men.

I had the same problem. I just drilled out the cymbal a bit to open up the hole. Took very little to get it to fit. Otherwise, it chewed up the cymbal sleeves.
Problem is, this isn't the "old days". This is how human beings communicate these days. I keep in contact with people I know now more than ever before, mostly because it is so easy. I can take 30...
I personally love Facebook. Between having kids, a job, and a home to take care of, I don't get to socialize as much as I would like. Facebook allows me to keep up with those that I want to keep up...
I recently put Coated EC2's on all of my toms, and they have never sounded better! I have used a number of Remo heads in the past, and so far, the EC2's are my favorite head. They stay tuned better...
I don't agree. I think all people want to get some sort of immediate gratification from anything they do these days. I would be more likely to stick with it if I was actualy learning songs I know...
I have been using them since they came out. I really love the size. It is perfect. I did have an issue with the tips chipping, but found out recently that it wasn't me doing it (it was my son). I...
I have a steel Golf-Ball 7 x 13" snare, and use a coated G2 over 300 Hazy, with 24 strand Puresound Custom Pro Wires. It sounds a-m-a-z-i-n-g. My son has a vented 7 x 14" Maple vented OCPD snare...
This is the same problem I ran into, EXACTLY! I don't care what anyone says, this isn't normal. My Evans G2 looks (and sounds) fantastic, and is already a few months old.
I recently switched from Remo to Evans due to numerous coating issues. The Evans heads I currently use (G2 coated on my snare/300 hazy, EC2 coated on my toms, and Emad over EQ3 Ebony on my bass) are...
Good luck, Mr Ice!!! I know from reading your posts, that this is something you want badly. Let us know how it turns out.
