Shane, I always love how clean your sets are and how awesome your pictures come out! I am on the verge of keeping my Acrolite snare for two different sounds, but that means I would have to wait...
Ahhh those drums are beautiful! Though I would probably have gone with chrome hardware over white, I still love em :) I wonder how brass hardware would look on those!
Favorite part of that kit? The pizza. :icon_mrgreen:
Justin, I can only repeat what everyone else is saying. I played on a Percussion Plus for my first kit with two racks toms the same size. However, I loved it. Your Mapex is undoubtedly a few giant...
Gary, that is probably my favorite snare on this forum. I heard they handle the high tunings very well too so it could sound like a shallower snare, but it still has a lot of body.
That is a solid looking kit. I love the height of your ride. I play mine high right now because I am using it as a crash quite a bit, and I can still ride it. I love it.
Nice to see another SC Birch player! I have a Tama SC Performer Birch in very irregular sizes. 24/13/18 in Emerald Sea Fade. Also a green Tama :)
Hey Shane, I am using a Canon Rebel Xs 10.1 mp with a EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens. I have a tripod as well. What mode are you shooting in? I want to get some great looking pictures of my Tama...
Get the Avalon instead! You get 2 racks and 2 floors for a cheaper price! Much cheaper actually. They are both made of 100% maple, but the Avalon has 6 ply toms and 8 ply bass and snare compared to...
One ply toms?! How do they sound? Thickness?
NO WAY!!!! Someone else has a Percussion Plus set? I had one as my first set before I upgraded to Tama Swingstars, then again to my Starclassic Birch! That was a good ol' set. I had some fun on it.
...
Those are some pretty drums! WOW! Ddrum makes really good kits as long as the bearing edges are sound. If they are, they you are blessed with a great kit. I love the huge sizes too! But, I bet heads...
no way! haha. I never knew. I am guessing they aren't the best of cymbals! lol
As much as I don't want to burst your bubble of lies, but those are PERCUSSION PLUS cymbals :-D I had a Percussion Plus drum set a few years back. I think you should replace those with Paiste cymbals...
Show off... :icon_mrgreen: Those are killer! I think you should donate your Tamas to me because I have 1 kit to your 4.
Hush CD. You know there are innocent children who are age 16 (yes I just turned 16 March 31st :icon_mrgreen: ) that don't know about these things? lol
Anyways, that is a good song!
Thanks! how are the DDrum Deccabons? I have been looking into buying some or making my own octobans out of PVC pipe.
As for that slot venting. Explain to me what it is and how it works as I am...
You have my vote for one of the better kits on DC! Can I get full kit specs on that bad boy?
$2000000 says he can cross stick already but doesn't realize it...

As much as I HATE EXPERT VILLAGE, that is what a cross stick is.
How do they sound?
What kind of Tamas are those? Starclassics?
Oh trust me I know EXACTLY what you mean. I went from a 12x9, 16x16, 22x16 with my Tama Swingstars to 13x10, 18x16, and 24x18 with my BIRCH Starclassics! But, I don't regret buying this large of a...
:icon_surprised: NO WAY! Those are insane Les! Almost as insane as my SCs :icon_lol: Great buy man. You won't regret it. I love a 4 piece set up!
That deserves a :boom-crash:
haha great snare!
