no i dont think its every too late to start. for the sounds of it sounds like your a fast learner. but its not like i know by experience cause i m a lot younger then you but never too late.

haha i use the cheap ones and I buy 3 pairs and then split it with my friend their called buskers. ..........well okay they didnt brake for quite awhile so i dont know...
dont use it stick to slide it`ll come easier when you want to do triplets i do use heel toe trying to change to slide
