Usually you can position one of the tabs on the memory lock in the groove on the base to prevent rotation.

With reference to your Icon rack:

1. Buy the cymbal stand tops (PCL100) that fit into the tops of the vertical rack tubes of your bottom rack.
2. Buy a second, identical Icon rack.
3. Remove...

Put a memory lock on the tube from the snare basket and use the memory lock to hold the stand at the proper height. :think:

I look for three things from my drumming shoes:

I found the Direct Sound EX25 headphones more comfortable and better sounding than the Vic Firths.

I'm aware they have an even more upscale model (the EX29) but I have no experience with those.

When I check their website, they're listed at $75. Not quite as cheap but still a damn good deal...

According to Evans website, the biggest size for an Onyx head is 20".
It's a two-ply head that's better suited for batter than reso. But if you can get the size you need for your kick, go for it....

Holds the cymbal securely; completely stable base -- basically what you'd expect from a cymbal...

Let me derail the nationalism by admitting that I'm more offended by the flat cymbals and flat toms than the guns.
