Your body should be working with you, not against you.
You wanna be feeling the groove flow through you. Thats the sensation you are after!
Dem drumsticks should be extensions of your body. If...
Welcome to the forum Mr.d4n13l0930!
Your letters are hurting my eyes. Please refrain from such garishness in the future.
If you feel like you are drumming boring, you ARE gonna drum boring.
Im always convinced that I sound GREAT. For that reason, I always sound GREAT.
Relax, mate.
You are playing faster than you are ready for. What you need to do is work on improving you relaxed speed. IE: the speed you can play while staying relaxed. Your "cramped up" speed is...
Yer fingers and yer wrists need to work together. They need to be flowing, so they work with the music. you cant play feelgood if your "parts" aint all working together, and flowing with the music.
1. I just do some light warm-up work. Dont beleve the hype. It dont really matter what you do to wam up. The main thing is that you get that warm, tired feeling in your wrists.
2. Just relax....
Nice to ear its gone.
My only advice is to ALWAYS warm up. I didnt warm up before a gig once and I had hand pain for a week!
I reckon this: YouTube - Stewart Copeland masterclass
Is as close you will get to havin a lesson with Mr.Copeland.
Enjoy!
"Dont stop me now" was got to be the easyest Queen song to sing.
Queen always go down well.

Just stay calm. People wont be looking at you much.
If you warm up beforehand, use proper technique and set yer drums up allright you should have no problems
That is the way i would do it also.
I agree with what Zeta said. Put the radio on!
No it isn't. It a sign of bad technique, or playing too hard.
If you feel comfortable doing it it isn't a problem.
I have to agree with the redneck, he is right.
Nice to hear it went well, mate.
Its a real buzz playing in front of people.
General rule of thum is, the smaller the diameter, the better.
You shouldn't have to be told. It should be instinctive.
Not an idea as such, but im going to say this.
Its not what you play, its what you dont play.
The thunder is an illusion.
Creating that illusion is all about who has the dynamics, not who bangs the **** out of their drums the most.
Mainly trad. But I use matched when i need to consistently rimshot during a whole song.
I think a lot of people are overdramatizing getting behind the kit. Just do it. Put your favortie CD on and start bashing away. The most important thing is to have fun!
