Can anybody get on Sabian's website? I tried last night and it didn't work, but I just wrote it off as one of those stupid little glitches that happens now and again. But I tried again a few times...

Basically, yea. Except the HH and HHX's are hand hammered, the AA and AAX's are hammered by a machine.

AA has traditional lathing, AAX has pinpoint lathing. The difference being that the AA's take more of a hit to "open up" and reach their full sound, whereas the AAX's will sound the same all the time...

Wow, that really looks amazing. Congrats on the new cymbal!

It's too bad that Sabian doesn't offer a bulk package of sorts because basically all my cymbals could use some refinishing :/

Anybody know anything about the Vault Tour? I know there was one in 2005, but I haven't seen much about anything else.

Kind of a random question. Is there any difference between a Vault Fierce Crash and an HHX-Treme crash? They sound pretty similar to me.

I'm not sure if the sound bytes on Sabian's website have been updated yet. I'd recommend the specific page for them to get a real idea of what they sound like.

Return it? I mean, assuming you bought it at GC or SA (basically, not from Craigslist), you should be able to return it no problem. Then just use that money towards the AAX you want.
