Really looks like an AL-6214D, They came out 1988 and ran until late 1991. Unfortunately, Pearl doesn't track serial #'s with the exception of the Masterworks series.

Pearl Sensitone Elite aluminium? 6.5 x 14 or 5.5 Matt? I have the 6.5 and has become my main snare, it's a great, really versatile drum. The rest of the kit is pretty snazzy too, I love the finish.

A few recent changes to my kit.
First I scored a used PDP rack w/ both wings, it has some ripple on the back side of the main bar from the clamps being cranked down too hard, but I can' complain, I...

I really like the look of the kit as well, it reminds me of the hair band days.. but it, sitting on that carpet makes my vertigo act up :icon_eek:

Thanks Russ. they are the LX series, maple / lacquer finish. They didn't look like this when I bought them. I've put in a lot of hours getting them looking good again. The rest will be money items,...

I posted these over in the PDP area, but figured I should add to the pile here too. It's a PDP LX in cherry to black fade, a real mash of hardware and cymbals, but I'm slowly upgrading as I can...
