^^^ When I was a kid, I hated sparkle finishes, or anything not black for that matter. I have come full circle and thanks to DrumChat and sparkles and Pearls are now my favorites. That Champagne kit...

I loved those stripped looks from Gretsch in the Catalina line. The mahogany they used sounds great on the kick and toms.

I always like the various striped kits Gretsch had in the Catalina line. I'm loving that black on silver. Nice choice.

I will concur about the Crush acrylics. Mine do not sound louder necessarily, just way more full.
