Had this happen before, just took it off and straightened it out with a plastic mallet on the work bench.
I love Aquarian heads on my snares, Hi velocity and Hi energy

Nice, 9 x 13 is a real nice size. With the snare stands I have I have no problem getting my 14 x 10 to the right height. The Ludwig atlas pro stand goes really low.
I have played one at a music store and liked it but for 199 you can get the Ludwig Supralite 8 x 14 that IMO sounds just as good.
Nice bikes! I have been riding since I was 8, first dirt bikes raced some endurance races then got my first street bike at 15. I have had many makes of motorcycles throughout my life and really used...
which shell and size?
Get the acro and put an Aquarian Hi-energy on it, I had the same combo and it was loud, Acros can be loud and cut with the right heads wires. if your on a budget check out the Ludwig Supralites as...
I am on two other drum forums and like this one the best. Yeah people are rude on other forums and say things they never would face to face. The worst one I have ever seen is an audio forum that...
Pics or it didn't happen, congratulations on your deal, nice size.
Its awesome, a really versatile snare, nice bite of birch, body, sensitivity and of course Tama reliability.
They have another Tama exclusive, a 6.5 x 14 Artwood birch with reverse flange hoops for 200, I had to get it.
That's the one at GC right? I played it and was impressed, Nice tone, depth, die cast hoops and Tama reliability. Wonder how it would sound with a coated head on it? nice for the price but it is a 8...
Nice glad you like it, I have this one and the 8 x 14 and love them both. Congratulations.
Well actually my 6.5 x 14 is the older one with 20 plies with 18 maple and a single ply inner and outer...
I would call Ludwig if I were you, it might be defective. You can always get a adapter plate and mount any strainer you like.
Thanks everyone! You know I have two supralites and one 8 x 14 BM and they all have the same strainer, I have never had a problem with any of them. But I never gig mine and have my snares fairly...

Here it is!
Guilty, I did the same thing when I got my first cymbals. It worked pretty good and I was happy with the way it sounded.
I have a bunch of XS20 cymbals and they had no blemishes but I got mine all one at a time and hand picked them all, probably a result of being all shipped in the same box. I have bought several used...
You can get free ones to download on your laptop, plug it into a PA and your good.
pretty sure Worldmax makes the shell for Ludwig and probably everything else.
OK a notorious Denver drum shop got one of these in and I just could not resist after hearing it. Sounds different than the Jim Riley snare. a bit more ring, great tome huge sound tons of body. I put...
I have this drum as well as the 8 x 14 version, awesome snares at a ridiculously low price.
AC DC on their Razors Edge tour, insanely loud and those canons they set off at the end must have has a stick of dynamite with each blast! my ears rang for days if not weeks, from then on I took...
