    Nice, 9 x 13 is a real nice size. With the snare stands I have I have no problem getting my 14 x 10 to the right height. The Ludwig atlas pro stand goes really low.

    I have played one at a music store and liked it but for 199 you can get the Ludwig Supralite 8 x 14 that IMO sounds just as good.

    I would call Ludwig if I were you, it might be defective. You can always get a adapter plate and mount any strainer you like.
