I've found the Paiste cleaner in the orange bottle to work best for me, and I've seen they also have a blue bottle to re-apply the protective coating. It takes some elbow work but they'll come out...
Cool man, I do some hiking out that way.. If you're in the area, On August 10th my band If Convicted is playing at The Jewish Mother in Hampton.
Hey Dave what part of VA are you from? Anywhere near Hampton Roads area?
+1 An extra pair of shorts are a must for mingling between sets. I'm also a big fan of dark running shorts for this very reason.
Dude that was brutally good!!! Is that like a rolling technique on the kick drum during the really fast parts? How long did you have to practice that with your feet to get that tight and where can I...
Catalina Clubs are good for the money. I use one as my practice, take around kit and I love it!
Attack Attack! - Guitared and Feathered
Good job man, sounds good!
Great job man! Sound good and spot on drumming! I love the heavy stuff \m/
Nice set up dude! Would love to see them in a brighter light also.
Pearl Roadster is what I use and it has a hydraulic in it to absorb some body movement when you get rocking out. It's very forgiving, but the next throne I get, I'll be sure to get one with the leg...
August Burns Red has really good tight drumming and very technical. New CD came out yesterday and is phenomenal!
May be a special production just for Chad. I would love to have one!
AAX is like the A customs of Sabian. I'd say this is a reat deal if they are barely used. A Customs may have a slightly higher pitch but AAX are great hats and very versatile. Good score!!
I agree with the dead center for a good thump, but the curiosity may stem for the style in which you might play a timpani. Where playing closer to the edge will result in a better tone from the drum.
Not sure what model mine are but, I've noticed them doing something similar to this just the other day at band practice, it's the first time I've noticed it, but didn't have a chance to asses the...
Very true, there are many makers around, RAPA is just one in the area. After posting this I had a huge craving and had to get some for breakfast this morning, and enjoyed it wrapped in a burrito...
Who on here has experienced or even heard of Scrapple? I'm not sure how to describe it... It's a pork product the is grey and comes packaged in a brick. It's contents include everything from a pig...
Everyone, thanks very much for the insight!! I have started a drum fund that i'm putting money into now specifically for the kit. Within the next couple months I hope to be posting pics of a new...
I've played Gretsch for the last ten years and have loved my Catalina Birch kit and my Catalina Club kit. Even though lower end sets they have served me well and always had a good sound with them. ...
Drivers license reads 27.. but popping bubble wrap and laughing at farts are still funny, so upstairs I beg to differ.
She's also played drums in a N.E.R.D. ft. Nelly Furtado music video called Hot-n-Fun. Really simple but more exposure for her.

To visit NZ is on my bucket list, a good friend went a couple years ago and had nothing but good stories. If I make it there before i die, I'll hit you up and have a kick *** drum session!
Good Vid! I like the setup with the hats under the ride. Never had remote hats but I may reconsider soon.
Wait... is that a 1988 wig? HAHAHA
