You would think that a slow cooling would soften a metal? And as far as the acetone goes I am going to do it outside in a somewhat air tight bucket and i read that if you mix it with half water it...
I think if i heat it up slowly and cool it slowly i will get a warmer/darker tone out of it.
Im going to give my agazarian china an acetone bath for a day or two then i think i am going to try to bake it in the oven
I wonder if putting a layer of petroleum jelly on the underside of a cymbal ride specificaly would result in a darker tone maybe throw some dust at it too?

i have never broken a stick except for a couple nylon tips coming loose. So i think this will work out great for me also it feels good to have a ton of sticks on hand
