Updated set, I quickly got sick of playing with the new heads so I switched my old ones on the new drums and they sound great.

I agree, that was totally mindblowing music goin on there. That is one killer drummer.
Gorgeous set brother. What ride are you using, great selection btw ;)
Diggin the vintage Alphas.
Those Remo drums sound pretty unique, a bit tubby for my taste though. Aren't they made of fiberglass or some synthetic compound?
Cool pic
That wood looks absolutely gorgeous. Amazing set brother.
That's the coolest finish I have ever seen O_O
Don't take this the wrong way NR, but do you still prefer the B8's after 30 years?
Nice set man, I think you're talking about the new JJ Alphas though, they're cool.
What's with the reflecting resonant heads? It looks pretty cool.
Diggin the Danny Carey style dude. What ride is that your using? It looks nice. How are the Fiberskyns treatin you, or whatever they are.
Cymbal specs on the Session? It looks great man.
Thanks guys. Dustin that kit is lookin great bro.
Justin, the heads are nice, a little more dead than I had expected, but they really do dampen those overtones if that's what you like.

Hello all my old friends. I'm back after a long uneventful summer. We've moved so I just wanted to fill you guys in on my new drum space and gear. Check it out and leave as much feedback as you want....
What kind of Gretsch is it? Nice lookin setup.
It's all good, drumrbychoice... We all catch the GAS every once in a while. I've always wanted a set of Rockstars, but there's always been something about the inner basswood plies that sketch me out...
I agree with the Black Suede heads. I just put the Suede Emperors on my birch set and they really do compliment the tone and resonance without all the annoying overtones and dampened sound.
Nice, that Ludwig is huuuuuge. I dig it.
Isn't rosewood another form or name for bubinga? Those are some incredible kits, man.
Hey Davie, how do you dig the Black Suede? I was caught up between getting them or Ebony Pinstripes for my next purchase.
Geez, Destroyer, those are some enormous sets, I bet the sound is thunderous. Not bad.
That's an 18" rack tom you said? What's it's depth?
I'm way way envious of your kit, LW. It looks beautiful, bro.
Beautiful congas, SDS. You'll have a lot of fun with them.
PS everyone:
I bought my set back today! weehooo
Geesh, Wotto, your set looks purely amazing now! And with quite an array of sounds and applications. I'm lovin it, dude. Nice work.
