I really like them. My batter heads are Evans Hydraulics and they sound great, but they are naturally a drier sound. The EC2's allow that great hydraulic sound to resonate more.

I thought about using the 14x12 Floor Tom but it just didn't have enough low end to it

Sounds like a lot of fun with all those drums in the background, plus the new one. Getting a new kit is always a like a fresh new start. It's awesome.
