I'm very fortunate to own a number of kits, but I wanted to try something a little different for two new band projects.
A different layout to my traditional and a kit that would incorporate a...
Just had the most wonderful time discovering your amazing kits and videos. Congratulations to you, very well done indeed Sir!
I have just purchased some vintage Pearl snares today and that looks similar to one of them. I don't know much about it, trying to get an age on it.

Nice, which Pearl snare is that?
Hi Patrick
Thanks for the reply. That's really interesting that you did a DIY job.
How much would you say that it has reduced the kit volume?
Stunning! :icon_cool:
Can you give me details of the sound screen you are using? Thanks in advance. :)
Great shots Mark, where was the first taken? :)
As you say, you can never have too many quality shots like yours Shane! The kit looks wonderful!
Thank you. :)
UFIP were and remain, a total cymbal revelation to me.

Very nice - always good to see roto-toms in a kit :)
I have cleared out some vintage kits and my lovely Gretsch Renown to make way for the kit that will now become my 'signature' kit.
The new Mapex Black Panther Blaster. :icon_cool:
I just fell in...
Looks great, sounds great! :punk:
What stand do you use? I have three 7" or 8" depth snares and ironically the best stands for me seem to be vintage Premiers.
Looking great, so pleased it is finally all working out for you. :icon_cool:
Like the post script..... :icon_mrgreen:
What info are you after Gretsch?
If you are a Phil Collins fan, I'll post something that may be of interest to you later. :)
Stunning kit, this is such an awesome shot as well.
Congrats and enjoy!
Very nice and always good to see Roto-Toms in use. :icon_cool:
Thanks for the info.
Several driver seat shots would be great to see if a bird's eye is out. :punk:
That is one awesome kit muddogsrule. :punk:
Do you have a bird's eye shot of it so we can see more detail?
Can I also ask how you mounted the Gong drum and what extensions did you use where you...
Nice set, is that the Pearl RH-2000 hi-hat?
How do you find it, any issues?
Interesting looking kit iconoclastic with at least 5 electronic pads. Are they used for percussion as I do?
It might also just be the camera angle, but the right kick looks a lot smaller than the...
Thanks, I'm really impressed with both my Panthers, I'd even like a third as well but cannot justify having another 'ocassional' snare.
Maybe one day. :icon_wink:
:boom-crash:
Thanks very much Dave, very kind of you.
Feel free to rip away as the kit has now gone, but was replaced by another
Renown in the Autumn Burst, which was the colour that I really wanted.
...
Thanks Dave, although, that kit has gone already! :sad1: :what:
I'd really wanted a particular colour Renown kit that I didn't think I'd be able
to get and while the blue looked stunning, it...
