Re: Ugh. Been a rough week

Sorry to hear brother. Grandparents always have a special place in grandchildren's hearts. I was very, very close to all my grandparents their entire lives. They have all been gone for a number of...

    Re: Craiglist Tom Angles enjoyment.

Don't you know that those are used to cover your drums and they are different pieces? Thus, drum set cover pieces! Hey, at least they are cheaper than the ones signed by TOOL.

    OK, I'll leave now....
  4. Re: $1600 for signed Tool drumheads...seriously?

20 bucks seems reasonable. 1,600 however, it friggen' ridiculous.

N2Bluz is right about some worker somewhere writing that on the heads probably making a buck and a half a day.
  5. Re: $1600 for signed Tool drumheads...seriously?

I love his playing too, but I still wouldn't pay that much for a head even if it was signed by G-d himself! LOL!

    You got that right!
  6. Re: $1600 for signed Tool drumheads...seriously?

    I wouldn't pay $6.00 for them. That's ridiculous.

    Re: D-Day June 6th, 1944

PMM - I hope you've read "To Hell and Back". If you haven't, check it out. Book written by none other than Audie Murphy. Give it a read. :)

She'd probably be mad if she knew how much you actually spent on gear. LOL!

    Re: Chris Cornell dead

They are now ruling his death as suicide. If this is indeed true, my respect level just went from 100 to 0 in a matter of a millisecond.

I've dealt with one suicide in my lifetime and I think...

    Re: Chris Cornell dead

One of my favorite singers of all time. Very sad. I was always a fan of Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the dog. What really bugs me about all of this is, my understanding is that the last...
  12. Re: One of our drum brothers, Zickos, has moved on.

So sorry to hear about this. I will recite Kaddish tonight.

RIP Zickos. I'll miss your posts.

    Re: Dogs

At least you had shoes on. I stepped in a pile one time barefoot. Let me tell you.... one of the worst feelings in the world is having dog crap squished between your toes. ::: shudder :::

    Re: At it again-Shelby

Yep, I had one with the 401 and a warner T10 4speed manual tranny. Someone had put a few bucks into the whole thing as well. There were some other engine modifications such as a 4bbl carb, low...

At least dog shaming is funny considering they don't have a clue and love their owners no matter what. :)

All that Pacer needs is a big block Chev motor with a blower sticking out of the hood. If it had those features, I'd definitely be jonesing for it!

Re: I installed a new shower today

You could always install a new soap dish too. Do you have any old cymbals you're not using? I'd recommend a splash cymbal.

    Too much? :icon_mrgreen:
  21. Re: Anyone remember my horrible singer stories?!

Yep, I certainly remember the thread you started.

My opinion? Forget about him and move on. He's not worth your time. You've good things going on in your life and don't let him spoil it for...

My buttons get pushed every day at work. When they do, that's when I push the "Dis-Like" button.

Ever notice there are some people in this world that pronounce button like "Buddon"? Those are...
  23. Re: Just when you think you've seen it all....

Interesting. I thought you guys would find it lame. I thought it was a bit silly, but, I do have to hand it to them as musicians for their "creativity".

I've seen musicians using all kinds of different items for instruments and all different kinds of items, but, kids toys and Spiderman drums? Wow...
