I had some prepacked sets of heads and couldn't find a 15" to match. I had tried all 3 major brands. Like I said in another thread that was a few years ago. Current selections maybe has gotten better...

15" is a great size but the selection of heads didn't suit my needs.
Just lovin' the blue!!!!
Love, love, love, love, love other than the sizes. That can't be much fun to gig with but what a home kit.
Yeah, not sure that Tommy Lee thing works for you there, Marc.
Ludwig sparkles have been awesome since the 60's when they first caught my eye. They were even in color back then.
I didn't realize there was more than one choice. If the black galaxy is like my snare drum.....I like lots if glitter (bigger to an extent) I'd probably go black sparkle.
This shows the black...
If you are anything like me, you won't be satisfied until you do exactly what you want. No short cuts, no settling. It's a good illness to have. I guess the hard part is when you decide you are going...
Hahahahah ummm yeah poetry....not so much. Sounds like you are going to spend some bucks. Welcome to Club Spaz. You remember that picture routine so I don't need to remind you...
From the hoop it almost looks like mahogany. But I'm no Ludwig expert. Nice looking kit however.
That looks so much like my TAMA bop kit.
It's going on the market this week.
I always pictured you as older. That kit color is similar to my TAMA bop kit. I really enjoy playing mine, too.
Can a shell be reshaped?
I would but it would only be a day.
Thanks for the informative details. Sounds like it's some serious eye candy and quality. Can't wait for pictures and a sound review.
Say what?!!?!?!?!?!
Brian, that was one heck of a good catch and diagnosis.
You have that spot on, IMHO!!!!
:icon_eek: Yeah, I'm not much for sparkles, but I guess it'll do. :liar:
Seriously, that is going to look eye popping. Very nice blend of sight to match the sound! :punk:
Yes, sir, I was. :icon_cool:
Cool!
Lookin' good, brother.
That is such an awesome kit!!!
Reminds me of Frank's drums. :drumset-3:
Nice find!!!
That is quite the relic Oli.
Hope your restore works out. Looks like a bit of a project.
Sorry for my lack of knowledge. It is like a bop kit? The bass drum looks small.
Love the finish!!!
