Sounds great. I have a birch Yamaha snare and love it (Akira Jimbo sig). Your toms sound great. I need new heads.

Thanks PB. It really does sing tuned up higher. If you hit it off to the side it's got a nice sound too. Little more ring and softer attack.
Thanks GF. It's fun to watch each other play in this video area.
Hey cool video Bish. Drums sounded great. I especially liked that fill that starts just before 4:20.
You snare sticking is awesome man. I love when you just do the snare stuff with bass drum accents. Cool as heck.
That was awesome. Thanks for changing it up, we need that. Great playing.
Nice sounding drums man. Good playing.
heh heh Thanks man. :icon_lol:
Here's one last one.
YouTube- DW drum kit demo
Thanks Bish. The snare really came alive once I cranked up the tension. I love the thunder of the 16" tom. Next time I'll try a little better quality audio.
Here's another. We sort of missed the...
I took this video with my still camera but turned out ok. There are more vid's on my Youtube page but this one was my favorite. I tuned my snare way up and like it much better like that. Just click...
No kidden, I had no idea. Did you go to the Neil Peart link and see those two videos? Man how cool to hear those shells getting thumped. The same size shell sounded an entire octave apart when he...
Wow cool. Don't D-dubbs sound awesome? Sure look nice too. If I can be so nosey what did you end up paying? I was around when you were posting about picking them up weeks back. Looks like you did !!!
13" Zildjian New Beats because that's what Neal Peart used when I bought them....25 years ago? It's what I still play. Nice and crispy.
I've always wanted to try something different. I'd need to...
Wow thanks for posting that. The guy was simply amazing. I'll never see anything like that agian. Saw him live many times in Milwaukee. I used to have one of his sticks. Wish I still had it. Thanks...
So glad I saw this. I haven't seen anything different in a long time. It gives me ideas to play a little more out of the box the next time I play. I hear some really cool fast jazz in your playing....
EMAD is pretty nice. Comes with two different dampening rings.
Noyce set mate !!!! Looks way better than my first one. Welcome to the world of drums. It's great fun.
Very cool. Stick tricks and really good playing. The set sounds great.
Cool two-tone CycleDude !!!
Yeah how do you hit the outside of the rims when you play? I bet it was dropped. It clearly took a hit on the outside of the rim that traveled inward. You can see the dent on the outside of the rim.
Ok help me out, I'm a little slow. Does that mean they ar worn out or not used enough? I'm not a regular here....yet. :icon_lol:
Wow nice kit. I was tempted to get a full set of wood rims. After seeing yours I just might. So what did you notice about the sound after installing the wood hoops? I assume they are Yamaha vintage...
DW toms for $100 each? If it's real you should have bought them right there and then. The $400 each sounds more accurate...unless they are stolen.
Thanks GF, it's a keeper.
Thanks PB !!
