If she's wearing it then somebody made it/got paid for it.
If they used your trademark then that should be compensated for.
Saying that I'm a drummer and not a lawyer. Hooray.
I like you the best.
I'm hoping to do another one of these videos during the summer but they require a lot more planning!
I'm reading off the printed copy - you can see it on the bass drum :)
I can read drum score but I have to 'translate' it in my head first, I am no where near fluent but a lot of the session work I like isn't dependent on reading so I don't mind.
If I do need to...

I'm sure a lot of the time it's a shortcut for achieving a manageable sound but I also think that since the use of electronic and produced drum sounds what people expect a drum kit to sound like can...
Thanks - it took me a while to get the feet going, good luck!

Billy Ward's DVD 'Big Time' has a great intro on how to set up the kit for playing ergonomically and comfortably, one of my favourite drum DVDs.
If any of you guys have videos of you playing I'd like to see so feel free to post away in this thread.
I got my dad one as he used to play and he loves it, got him a double kick too and now he spends many hours a week tapping away!
Over-tensing can be an issue too, when I'm drumming comfortably my whole body is very relaxed even if it's moving chaotically.
Most of the time I use it for backing tracks when playing live but this is much more fun.

I think addressing the accuracy might help more. Apparently Blur's drummer (Dave Rowntree) used to have lessons with a teacher who taped coins as targets to each head, sounded awful but great...
An alternative would be to record the drums as you were and then use Drumagog (?) or a hit replacer, it will trigger off the audio files and you can load in whatever sample you want, quite common to...
I carry my SPD around in a padded cymbal bag, easy to carrier than most alternatives and it's really quite protected if you slot it inbetween fluffy cymbal sleeves from the case. Loads of room for...
You are only as strong as your weakest link, callouses are fine!
