Came across a Paiste 2002 20" Ride Cymbal BLACK LABEL for sale.

I was considering a NEW 22" Big Beat. If buying based on price only, the Black label is a bit over a $150 cheaper.

However, want to buy on best suitable sound for jazz/Pop, but at a price near $400, it is hard to pull the trigger.

So, being new to the Paiste clan, would the Black Label be a good choice?

To be honest, I don't like them but I think the big beat makes you luckier.

Went in the opposite direction....picked up a pre-owned 602 flat, which I immediately was impressed with. I have always favored flats, my last being a Bosphorus MV.
Must say, the 602 has a bit of sizzle to it...really enjoying it.
Also, bidded and won a 20" Paiste Signature light ride. Hope to have it by end of week.
Now to get some crash, tho thinking the light could work.

I use a Zildjian A Custom Ping Ride on my main stage kit and while it's great for rock, there is nothing subtle about it. I'm looking for something warmer with more wash but still a decent bell and am considering the 602 Modern Essential Ride. Need a good all-around cymbal. Any experience or opinions?

Speaking for the 22" FO602ME model. If you can find one that is under 3000grams; consider purchasing it. Great cymbal.

They remind me of A Custom Medium crashes.. the hats tho, these are the Sound Edge version and hard to distinguish from my '02's. The Ride is a classic medium ride.. no surprises.
