Drum pedal question

Wondering for a long time.
I hv a Pearl Elim P2002C double pedal.
How can I turn it into a single(using the left foot pedal but not the right one)
I cant get the sivery object which holds the beater out from the right pedal...
How can I change it?
As carrying the right pedal as a single is quie heavy...

Snap with Larry and Dan...can't see any reason why you couldn't use the right pedal.

Right pedal is too heavy, Just wondering can I take out that "holder" from the right and use it in the left ped

You can change the tension in the springs, and change the postition of the footboard, and put extra cams on...

You can have them extremely light!

I am talking about separating the double pedal into two usable single pedals as I just want to carry the left pedal out at gigs.

If you put a bar in the left pedal to attach a beater to it, it's going to end p around the same weight as the right pedal anyway, as you'll have more or less the same parts.
