On vacation

Hey guys,

I'm on vacation in Hawaii right now. I'm havin' a great time! That's why I haven't been on in the last few days, and I probably won't be on again until this time next week. I'm sitting outside Starbucks in my car using the Wifi signal to get on the Internet lol.

Anyways, talk to you guys in about a week!

Oh yeah, and I sliced my knee while snorkeling and had to get stitches and couldn't go into the ocean for three days. Kind of defeats the whole purpose of coming to Hawaii, but at least I can go back in the water tomorrow.

Absolutley...be careful. Shark Week just ended for this year, and I don't think I'll ever go in the ocean again! LOL

Well, I just got back at 5 AM this morning. I had such a great time! I know nobody wants to hear me recount my entire vacation so I'll just say a few of the best things I did. Once when I was snorkeling I looked down and there was a sea turtle! It came up for air and it was swimming around right next to me and I touched it. And I saw a ton of color fish and stuff. Once I got chased all the way back to shore by a puffer fish lol. Also, I went on a hike through the rainforest and I got to jump off waterfalls that were like 20 feet high.

And I was walking along the a path near the beach one day and I saw the most ridiculous sign.

Possibility of crime?

Nice man. Good to see ya had a good trip other than the knee. I've always wanted to go there.My bud who lives in Alaska spends a cpl months a yr in Hawaii..I'm quite jealous

I loved Hawaii when I went there a few years ago.

Snorkeling was the best part of it.

I saw a shark near the bottom of the inlet we were snorkeling in. Just about that time, another snorkeler swam over and tapped me to tell me about it. I about choked thinking the worst. I looked back and the shark was gone. From then on I kept a serious eye out for big teeth and a large fin. It was so cool snorkeling.

After the inlet side we went around to the other side which had a steep drop off and you could no way see down very far. All that open water below is very eerie.

All in all it was a great time so I'm sure you had to really have had a blast. We were in Maui for most of the week.

Does what? Banging my knee into coral? I guess you could say I would have saw it sooner and maybe avoided it if I had normal eyesight.
