I practice singles, doubles, paradiddles and double paradiddles. I use 'em for warm up too
So I`ve been told by many of you guys to practice rudiments to help you get more creative but I don`t really get how it does.
Is it like a muscle memory thing?
How should I practice them. I know I`m supposed to practice them with a metronome but what I`m asking is should I go through all of them in a day or like master each one and then move on to the next?
How do you guys practice your rudiments?
Thanks

I'm the same as Andreeew, but when I get bored, I try my hand a ratumaces (sp?)
I have been working on ruds for a while now and try to move them around the kit(as long as its that sticks/foots turn) yes ruds on feet to. I try to look at them as riffs for the drums. Thats just crazy me though. Really just keep working on them and before you know it you'll have them all memorized.
