Default DW Collector's Series Solid Walnut Snare

As some of you know I scored a major deal on this puppy last week...just wanted to share some up close and personal photos of it. By the way, the thing sounds like a cannon...made out of wood. Thickest, gutsiest crack I've ever encountered. The warmth of maple with a thicker low end.

You can crank your dieCast hoops to 20 ton pressure before the drum will actually explode No - just kidding. I have a DW Collector's - not the single ply (solid shell) like the beauty here - but mine has the re-rings as well. It gives the shell extra strenth.

NICE DRUM MK - we need a nice snare "Smiles" don't you think?
