Daaaamn some crazy drumming right there
This was just added to drum solos in the drum videos section:

The kid is only 16 years old.
I'd say the young man has a brilliant future! Much like Tony Royster jr, he plays on a prodigious and mature level beyond his years. He throws in a lot of techniques from dynamics to double kick. He uses textures and grooves as well. He blends pop, rock, fusion and jazz fluidly. I see a high degree of independence and a great ability to structure a solo. Maybe I missed a skill or two, but I'd say he's ready to big time.
amazing man! loved the brush intro section

For me seeing something like that is really inspiring. He is the same age as me, and every time I see something like that it always drives me to work harder and strive to become the best musician I can be.

my left eye is stuck in a squint...
that was absofrickenlutely amazing!
the less a man makes declarative statements, the less apt he is to look foolish in retrospect.

Wow! Now there has to be a little bit of genetics at work . . . and a whole lot of hard work!

Whoa ! The question is...what can't this kid do? He's displayed an amazing amount of independence and stick control...not to mention fluidity and speed ! Are you sure this kid is 16? Even with the right genes, like Pastor said, there's a whole lotta hard work involved there. Amazing !!
i wonder if he was nervous when he was playing that

I knew it was Dylan right when I saw "16 years old." Yeah that kid's crazy.
I used to always see him busking in Wellington. I'm not sure if he does that anymore, but when I did see him busking on his small little GoKit, he was amazing! He's 19 now, I want to see some more recent videos of him.

That kid is a perfect example of what separates the great drummers from the fantastic ones. Not only did he show great skill, speed, etc, but his solo had a musical quality to it as well. Fantastic solo.

Oh yeah, he's pretty good, I suppose.
There are some people in the world who are simply complete monsters. That one handed roll he pulls at 2:00 is the stuff of legends. Also, the salsa breakdown 4 minutes in, which he cleanly steps out of with triplets. He is a magical man. Of course, I'm 16 as well, so this is partly me saying "Ha! Us young 'uns can be legitimate musicians as well!"
WOW this guy is simply amazing!!
Around 9:00 it looks sped up!!
that must have been so much practise its unreal.
thats incredible. if i practised that much i might be able to do half of what he does by the time i die :| lol.

Oh, and I hear ya about being able to do half of what he does by the time I die . . . maybe!

that boy is simply epic.
That was amazing!
Is that kid huge or is that a really small bass drum?
I have to agree with all the others, talent, determination, showmanship...........he has it all.

Wow!!! A touch of Thomas Lang in that solo methinks.
Kind of looks like one of my warm-up practice sessions on my drum pad.
I wish.
And just when I was getting excited about doing the first typical rock groove somewhat well . . .
