snare sound

Hi im new to DC, im 13 and have been playing drum for about 8 months. I have a Ddrum limited edition 14x 6.5 in (maple i beleive) what heads should i buy to get the best sound? Hey Donius, welcome to the board! Gadd uses Remo heads, the one on his snare is probably a coated Ambassador or Emperor, which I would highly reccomend for any snare. Sounds like he has it tuned a little low.

Remo coated ambassador... definately. SG's reso head could be anything. maybe a hazy?
