I'm kind of digressing here but who the heck deemed those words offensive... you know what i mean? I always think about this... why is it so vulgar and disrespectful to raise your middle finger by itself? and what makes any of those substitutes any less "harmful" ( i dont think swear words to damage to anything) than the words that they are put in place of?
" people who dont believe in gosh go to freaking heck and i'm darn right about that."
^^^^^^^^ if i said that sentence, of course with the words that are obviously suposed to be there, does it change the meaning of my statement? Does that statement all of a sudden become a volatile and harmful thing that shouldnt be seen? its the context i'm curious about...
please dont see my view as combative ( i understand the reasoning behind the police of course) but does anybody just feel indifferent about it like i do? I am very happy to be a part of this community where seldom is heard, a discouraging word, but i've just never been able to comprehend the effectiveness of certain words.
Now you could very well have the same argument with somebody saying that rolling your eyes at somebody isnt disrespectful, but it could get you whipped other places... you know what i mean? I'm just trying to get some insight here as this issue is fascinating to me!! dont take my approach as "we should be allowed to curse" because thats not how i'm approaching it. I'm just Curious George
