Yeah man, I was looking to get one of those also. That one or the Gilbralter one. They both look the same. Thanks for the review.
Thank you Craigslist! I found a guy selling some splash cymbals, I go to pick one up and he asks if there's anything else I need. I walk out of there with a Zildjian K 10" splash, Tama/Gibraltar stand, LP tambourine and an LP cowbell.
So I needed a way to mount all this stuff, so I ordered the Rhythm Tech RT790 DSM Quad Mount. That's a long name for such a simple product. At first I was afraid that it wouldn't be very sturdy. After all, it's a $30 mount, give or take, holding at least three things at a time, and I couldn't find any reviews of it. But let me tell you, this thing is a rock! The black bar doesn't flex at all, and all of the rods seem to be durable. The only thing that concerns me is that the bolts feel a bit cheap and might strip, but those are easy to get at any hardware store.
So anyway, enough jabbing, here's my new setup! The big cowbell is a Stagg (medium, I think) and the hats are older Sabian B8 "First." I flipped them upside down so it just says Sabian, and because it doesn't sound any worse. And yes, I will get around to cleaning everything someday. Maybe.

That's a cool set up. I have the LP Matt Sorum percussion pack and set mine up just like yours except have the jam block where your smaller cow bell is.
It sounds good when you go to the cyclops on a verse or different part then back to the hi-hat.

I still haven't had a chance to play it with the whole kit, but it seems like it will fit the bill. It's sturdy and hasn't slipped off the rod like my Stagg bell does, and has a nice sound. The one thing that concerns me is that there might be too much stick noise, but I guess you could always glue a mousepad to it or something to soften it up.
