If you can find one, zxt titanium cymbals are about the brightest cymbals I have ever hear.

If its down to AAX or HHX then go for AAX. AAX is bright, HHX is dark, so obviously of those two AAX is your cymbal.
My FAVORITE RIDE CYMBAL OF ALL TIME (so far), is the Sabian AAX Raw Bell Dry Ride. This cymbal is 21" of pure goodness. The bell is the best sounding thing I have ever heard from a round piece of bronze and the bow is just as good. It is a bit expensive, but if you can afford it, then you know...
Remember to always try before you buy, but another cymbal I really like is the Zildjian Custom K Hybrid ride. I'm not a fan of Zildjian, but this is a good cymbal.
Take a look at Sabian Xs20s as well. The ride has a super small bell, but I own a crash and it is my favorite one.

You should look into the Paiste 2002 Wild ride. It's thinner than the traditional 2002's
