I've got a few of them over the years....
Awesome idea for a thread - I shall put mine up when I get home from work (if I can find one where I look human).

LMAO, Eddie, the bats are classic.
I once took wooden closet rod round stock, cut them to about 16" and lathed a tip on them and carried them around for show. They were great. Fun to play with and a very effective defense weapon too if needed. No idea what ever happened to them.

I don't have many, but this was the first time I set up the Yammie's for a jam session last year.

Wow, nice bass drum reso.
I 'd love to see more early pics.
Unfortunatley I don't have one of myself playing drumset, but here is one of me about 4-5 years ago playing tambourine and dancing for my previous band Nine Dart Finish. I was very energetic on stage and I was with this band for a year or two. The guitarist from this band and myself have now started our own band and are looking for a bass player. Hope I can show you some of our stuff soon.

RIP Frank
That happened to me at my wedding. My band ended up playing most of the night.
To make a long story short - We'd hired another local band to do the wedding...and a week before, there guitar player got arrested and put in jail. So...to say the least....they were unrehearsed and were playing these long drawn out blues jam tunes. It was lame.
So.....the crowd began chanting for us to play....and we did for a few tunes. Problem was.....every time we'd stop.....the other band would get up and play some lame blues number and the reception crowd (300 people) would soon after start chanting my bands name again. So we'd get back up and play.
We ended up having a good time.....but I was not happy with the band I hired.
