The story is that we needed a promo video, we had no experience doing this but I had an idea that maybe the students studying Media/TV/Films at a local college may help. I contacted the college and my timing was perfect ( for the first time according to bassist Terry.... ) - the final year students were just about to compete their course, and the last assignment was to produce a short film ! Their tutor liked our song, and so did the students, and within three weeks, the video was finished. Our local area is rich with locations, castles, beaches, caves and a seedy nightclub...perfect ingredients.

The scene in the small cave was genuine guerilla filming, the cave is actually in somebodies back garden, they were out when the crew visited to ask permission, but the band told the students that it would be 'OK' to film, so everybody rushed in set up cameras, sound, lights etc, and filmed Vicki in the cave, the crew left fast and the owners were none the wiser ! They still have no idea that there back yard was used as a set... Same with the cliff top, no permission, we just climbed over the safety fences and played, same with the forest, we just waved at the security at the widlife park, drove through and found the most perfect english woodland setting, set up monitoring PA, Generators, Lights and filmed. We told the students that it was all OK we were old enough to be their parents and bless em' they just did what we told them !

They passed their course with distinction, we got a video made for £34.50 plus 2 litres of Pepsi and some chocolate.

Hope it wasn't a let down! I do like this pic, could be an underground jazz lounge or something. It wasn't. Shame.

Cool Re: Favorite Picture of You Playing

I just now realized I've posted all of my favorite pictures of me playing at various times as my av photo (not to mention that one of the photos--the one with me rockin' the congas in 2004, when I still had sandy blond hair--is on the cover of DrumChat!).

My actual favorite is the one of me behind my red CPs and gray Remo, which is my current av pic, but the trouble is it was so dark and grainy I couldn't enlarge it any more without me looking like something from outer space!

So guess what I'm gonna have to do???

And I'm gonna have fun doin' it!
keep the beat goin' ... Don't keep it to yourself!

Talk about two totally different types of drums. I love them both. I bet that Peart set cost a bundle. I'd hate to set it up, but would love to play it Of Course the Ludwigs just scream Bonham to me. Wow.

Actually if you look at my left hand, I am about to hit the china. They look higher then they are, very easy to reach.
