    I clean mine a few times a year or if they look like they need it.Finger prints dont bother me but if they get real dirty there is quite a difference in the sound after they are clean.

    Absolutely. I was looking for one product that would do ALL the light maintenance type of cleaning on every part of the kit and Pledge MS is the stuff!.

    It works on absolutelty everything, chrome, wood, plastic, cymbals etc...etc.

    Never, ever, ever. However, I'm of the mind that cymbals get better over time and cleaning them takes away some of that mojo. To each his own.
