There not flanged. Just straight thick steel rims. Those are the New Jersey LP 14" and 15" Stainless Steel Tito Puente's. Had those over 30 years. Yea the windscreens. It's always windy on the water there. That was the sound company's stuff. I will post a video after I look through some of it.

Very cool setup! Everytime I play near water, my conga's tuning goes straight into the crapper. I was forced to go with synthetics. Do you have issues?

It is hot here so I have never had any problems. It was like 91 Sunday. The congas have always held tune well. I always detune them/loosen the heads when I am finished playing.

Nice Oak Gon Bops. I have seen quite a few 11" LP heads on Gon Bops. Did you tuck the other drum?

Always cool seeing other percussionist set-ups. We're a pretty individual lot, lol. I can't seem to do without my windchime and triangle tree though, I use those quite a bit. Nice Gon-Bops and timbales. Are the bongos also made by Gon-Bop?

Yes, GonBop bongo's too. the Tumba head came with the drum. The LP head was a replacement. I have a lot more stuff. Sometimes I use my yamaha pads for different sounds and have some 6" and 8" drums on stands. That bag is full of other stuff, marraccas,a gogo bells, woodblock, triangle, quiro, fuche. I have some cymbals too.
There was another guy from jamaica on the other side of the drummer who was playing all the shakers and stuff who did not use conga's and timbale's so I didn't have that stuff out on my side. I will try and post a video.

I love windchimes, but how do you control them outdoors?

Ahh, now that is the $1,000,000 question, lol. I guess just get a gig on a less windy day, perhaps, lol? I dunno, maybe put a towel or cloth small enough to go over them on both sides when your not using them so that the breeze doesn't blow them during a quiet part of a song, I suppose? Personally, it's never happened to me on an outdoor gig as a percussionist....yet. But if it happens, then I think I'll run with that idea!

I have a wind chime sample on my pads. Wind chimes are nice but IMHO they are probably the most over used percussion instrument in the last 2 decades. Sometimes I set up my Musser M55 Vibraphone and play some solos.

like those timbales, I'm about to get an old green label brass set for cheap.

I really want a 13"/14" green or gold label steel

    Great setup
