New crash suggestions.

I have K custom dark crashes 16-18 and a 20" brilliant ping ride. I am trying to add another crash what cymbal would compliment these cymbals?

anything from the new K hybrid range would work really well. A really aggressive sounding cymbal!

Look into the "fast crashes" either 16,17,or 18 they will sound different than the K's but like we always say..." you have to hear it "

If you're looking for a brighter sound, sure. But K customs are darker than A customs, so you might be mismatching.

Only you can make that determination. Some players like all cymbals to be from the same series so they sound very similar to each other. Other players have many different series so the crashes compliment each others' sound still, but each one has its own individual voice as well. I've seen many guys have a customs and K's, or A's and K's, there is no "right" answer.
