    Default Help would be appreciated

    Hey all,

I know the last time I came to you all about a kit was when my kit started self destructing on me. Well, this time, I need help with reviews on one particular kit, the 6 piece Ludwig Element (fusion) in Green-Black fade. It's an intermediate kit, and I found it for $350, slightly used. I emailed the guy who's selling it for more pictures a few minutes ago, and I'm crossing my fingers hoping I'll get those pictures tomorrow, because then it increases the likelihood of me getting this particular kit sooner . I am a-ok to get this kit (parents approved, mainly because of the color lol) so if the reviews are good, i'm mostly likely getting this kit.

So PLEASE help me out. If any of you can tell me about the kit firsthand (as in you own it) please PM me!! I need a dependable kit, because, well... My current kit is pretty rickety as of now!

    Thanks all.

Hmm I can't speak of the whole set but I did have the element snare for a bit and I liked it especially for the price. It was pretty good quality but it didn't quite have the sound I wanted but I think it was just a size thing.

I know for a fact that wm_crash owns this kit, you might try sending him a message. You may have to wait awhile for a response because I don't see him on often. He has it in an orangish finish, so it might be a different shell because that series has different construction depending on which version you get.

It's a good kit. Elements are nice, I almost got an element snare a couple years ago. I'm guessing this is the kit?

That is the one. The guy selling the kit hasn't gotten back to me yet, but seeing as it's only 11:15 AM... I'm hoping I get more pictures by tonight.

EDIT: I also figured, with the floor tom on the Element being a 14" I would/could use my 16" floor to make it a 7 piece, since my 16" is one of the two drums that are still entirely intact on my kit now haha

I've never played these but they should be much better than your current kit. Suspension tom mounts and birch shells which should deliver a loud low end sound. I may be wrong but the Fusion series toms may be a little smaller in depth or diameter than a power tom. But you may find a happy medium there. The Fusion toms may be able to give you more tuning options. The finish looks top notch.

Yeah, I don't like power toms all that much anyway. No pictures or response from the guy yet today.
