High hat clutch keeps loosening!!!!!!

Heyy,

right i recently bought a Tama stage master high hat stand. and overall the stand is great etc etc... but the clutch constantly keeps loosening! its rather annoying to be honest. Anyone know what i can do to rectify this or even give me some examples of new clutches to buy (if so please post a link of where to purchase). THANKS!

I have a Pearl SGC300P Super Grip Hi Hat Stand Clutch, and if you want, you can lock it at the bottom with a drum key. I'm not sure which part keeps slipping, but I have yet to have mine slip. My only complaint was the original rubber "felts" it comes with. I replaced them straight away with real felts - it's just a better feel IMO.

If you only have one tightening adjustment under the top hat, you may need another, 2nd one, to lock it in. If it's loosening from the top, you'll need it there.
