    Ringo Starr's real given name is Richard Starkey.(Pretty sure I spelled it right)

    I've known this for years, but I looked it up again just to be sure, Ringo's real name really is Richard Starkey, spelling and everything. I will absolutely stand corrected, though, if it isn't

    You got it, grasslander...

    He took the stage name "Ringo Starr" because: Not only did he wear many rings on his fingers, his last name was shortened so his drum solos could be billed as "Starr Time."
