    Default Workouts to help drumming

I just moved to a new apartment complex, and it includes, among other things, a gym. I was wondering if anyone knew of any kinds of workout that could help me behind my kit. I guess I could strap on some ankle weights, grab some dumbells, and play air drums, but I'd prefer to NOT drive people away.

I find the jump rope to be particularly helpful, also running on a treadmill or jogging. Most of the exercise I do, doesn't require machines of any kind, it's all stuff you can do in your living room with a fan blowing on you. Pushups, situps, hyperextensions, jumping jacks, etc.

I personally feel biking does the ankles good, my double bass sounds "Better, Faster, Stronger" (no "pun" "intended") Really, biking helps a lot IMO
