Brief Summary:Swiss drummer currently living in New York. Started playing when he was 2 years old with roots in jazz. At a very young age he was playing with names like Dizzy Gillespie, Monty Alexander, Nina Simone and others. Later he became interested in drum n' bass / electronica music. Jo Jo is widely known for his unbelievable chops, having popularized the heel-toe bass drum technique, the Moeller technique and the push/pull technique of playing the drums.

I remember the first video I watched of him was him playing "Jabon" at Vic Firth. And my mind was blown. Now I feel like I've seen almost all his videos. Got his DVD along with Greb's last year, it never gets old.
