    Lightbulb dualist double single pedal

I'm not sure what to think of this pedal because in a lot of ways its automated and that makes me look down on it but by being automated it opens up a lot more speed options. But putting that aside I've heard its poorly constructed almost plastic. But for the price I feel like I need to know everything I can even before I even consider investing.

It's a gimmicky kind of thing. I found it a bit hard to operate but I've seen some guys fly on it. Btw, Drum Bum has an offbrand one at like half the price if you want to check it out. They own this site any purchase with them helps support them. Theirs is under "twin effect" pedal.

Oh ok that's cool I thought there was only one brand in existence for double singles. Also off topic but how do I get rid of this newbie status on here?

I have 2 of these exact pedals. It goes by a different name brand from different companies. I believe they had the brand name of Pulse. I had the manufacturer send me another one after a weld let go on the first one. I then used liquid solder to fix it. I don't use them anymore after I got my DW 8002B pedals. They are very powerful and takes a while to be able to control getting both hits to sound evenly against the drum head. But you can fly on them if adjusted loosely.

I know duallist makes a double pedal version of this. So there's 3 beaters!

Quite pricey for that one - over $600, I believe.

    Good God . . . That's crazy.

Makes the effort to learn the toe-heel technique for the DrumBum Pedal well worth it.

Sonor also made one for awhile in it's Giant Step line, the 'Giant Step Twin Effect' pedal. Retail I can't even imagine how much it was, the regular single pedals from that line are around $600, and doubles go for $1500. If you're lucky you may find one used for 400, but I imagine it'd be a fierce buyer's war to snag it.

I've seen pictures of the sonor pedals online. They look a lot nicer than the duallist pedals, but the duallist is still nice.

E-Bay has this pedal right now for $140.00 free shipping. Made by Cannon, not Pulse.
