I have an old snare..but..don't know who made it.

Okay, I have this old snare. I don't know who made it, or even how old it is. I do know my grandpa had an old Rogers drum kit. I still have parts of his swiv-o-matic. I am hopefull that this is his snare, but I would be fine if its not. It has no badges on it, and no spots where one would be missing (from what I can tell).

The pedal...its seen better days.

Anyone seen a snare like this? Or am I looking at just a generic old wood snare? Lol

No, it looks like a cheap 60's japanese snare like a silvertone or early pearl.

The snare is probably a better made MIJ from the 60s. The pedal is what is left of a Rogers Swivomatic. The parts on that are worth about 20-30 on ebay, sold seperately.

not sure about the drum , but the pedal is a 70s rogers swivelmatic pedal , i still have a couple of those.

Whether or not if you find out what it is, still might be a fun restoration project for you. As far as identifying it, I'm really NO help in this department lol.
