    can you play this great beat? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-uOLJAZT1yw

    If so, you should record it as a drum cover on youtube and if you did a tutorial for it would be great, i really want to learn it. But i can't even find a tab for it online. Great beat though. Nice and solid

    You don't need tabs. Just emulate it. Take it one beat at a time. It's not that hard. You can do it!

    That's what I got from the intro. The hi hats are lifted on the 1 in both parts, and again on the e/4 bit of the second part.

    It's not that accurate but tis what I got from ear.

    Doesn't sound too difficult after you break it down.

    Cool

    Seems pretty straight forward, let's see if I can explain it:

    "-" = Do not play
    "o" = Play
    "x" = Play open Hi-Hat

    |1e+a2e+a|3e+a4e+a|1e+a2e+a|3e+a4e+a|
    |Xooooooo|oooooooo |Xooooooo|oooXoooo|
    |----o---|----o---|----o---|----oo--|
    |o-------|o-o-----|oo------|o-o-----|
    at 2:46 there is a musical break played as below times 3, then on the 4th back to normal

    |1e+a2e+a|3e+a4e+a|1e+a2e+a|3e+a4e+a|
    h |--------|--------|--------|--------|
    s |----o---|----o---|----o---|----oo--|
    k |o-------|o-o-----|o-------|o-o-----|

    The intial beat is played non-stop pretty much, with only the slight variance for the break/bridge

    That's about as good as It's gonna look on here, looks better in notepad. Hope that helped ya dude - main thing is just being fast enough and have enough contorl - but it's pretty traight forward and simple as fas as the pattern is concerned - also notice that the open hi-hat on the 4th group is on the "a" so it is slightly syncopated.

    If you want the notepad version that I have (.txt file), PM me your email address and i'll send it to you

    Hope that helped ya dude - would have done it for you sonner but my youtube wasn't working properly for the last couple of days - so I couldn't hear it.

    Well explained Crazyman lol.
    I don't think it could get much more straight forward.
