NICE!...Congrats Man!
And not a Toyota either.
I love how it sounds, even with a pinstripe on it. I think I may get one of the Evans HD Dry? Heads for it. I paid 280 for it. A guy from work had it. He traded a push mower for it years ago. Oh, he got the push mower for free, so he really made bank. Unfortunately, I told him what the snare was instead of just offering money,but hey, I'm a nice guy.
NICE!...Congrats Man!
Oh I thought it was a Toyota supra and I was getting excited. But anyway I'm glad your liking it mate. Never tried a snare drum with a clear skin on it.

If I had gotten a supra, I'd just trade it for a different car. Mustang..camaro.Lol. I'm a rear wheel drive, stick shift, American small block v8 lover. Lol
The clear head is different for me too. It does play well, but it just isn't my cup of tea. It is incredibly sensitive though. It almost makes me want to sell the acrolite and my other pdp snare. I don't see me needing anything else,but I know that is foolish.
Very nice. What style do you play? That will fit any though.
great snare. i know you will love it
I've never seen a snare with a clear pin as a batter with a black dot in the middle like that. Totally awesome snare, any collection should have one imo. HD dry would work well to calm down any ring from it's metallic shell, but isn't immediately necessary if you are happy with the sound you get. Great pick up!

Nice find! I bet that thing really barks with the clear PS. No worries as long as your not playing with brushes.
You are a good man by being honest and giving the guy a fair buck for it - you still got a decent deal IMO. Nice grab!
Your = possessive - your stuff, your dog, your car, etc
You're = you are - a contraction.

Yeah, I got myself a Drouyn, an Aussie 1960's manufactured drum which was based on an imported Supraphonic shell, so I know what you mean about it's sound, alright. I have an Evans Power Center head on it at the moment.

I Believe its a 69. I had looked up the serial number, but I have already forgotten. Lol.
I absolutely love this drum. I have been playing on it the last few days, and I just love it. It is so sensitive when you are barely tapping it, but really opens up when you hit it.
