I think what people should remember, foreign language or not, is that you will often read about Rick criticizing other drummers who are considered 'famous'...Ringo, Peter Erskine, and I even think Bonham at one point. It's fine to have an opinion on drummers, but you should also remember that you're a grown adult and you are on a drum forum. In other words, get over yourself. You're never as good as you think you are.
Silence, if only.
I don't pick drummers out of a hat to knock because I have nothing else to do. I just get bothered when people declare certain drummers "Great" when then aren't, never were, and, in some cases, never will be because they chose to do things to their bodies that ruined any chance to be a "Great Drummer". Bonham falls into that category.
I have no idea why anyone thinks Erskine is great. Above adequate, maybe, but there are 2 many drummers out there that could blow his doors off.

I hate it when people start speaking/writing in Japanese.
It is Latin not Japanese
Eventus stultorum magister
"Fools have to learn by experience"
Adde parum parvo, magnus acervus erit
"Add a little to a little, and there will be a great heap."
I had to google it to find out.
Hmmmm....It's still an insult...Latin or Greek derivative, makes no dif.

Rick, if you will notice his post was back in 2015.
I have always said that Ringo is very versatile drummer and has proven that over the years as the Beatles aged and their style was changing he was adapting to it. Not too many drummers out there that have or can do that IMO he is a great drummer.
I was dog tired when I went over that post. I just went back and realized that it was in 2015 and that he obviously didn't like me.
He was wrong when he wrote that you are never as good as you think you are. You better know damn well how good you are.
What you can't think is that you are better than you really are.
